About Us
TRUE SMALL BATCHES MADE WITH LOVE
We make specialized small-batch bitters for cocktail connoisseurs and other food or drink artisans. For those who are new to bitters, their purpose is to enhance the taste of a cocktail or other drink, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, by adding a few drops at a time. They can also be used to flavor foods. Recipe ideas are included with every order placed.
Each bitter flavor is created by infusing various herbs, spices, and fruits in an alcohol solvent, typically for 30 days. This draws out as much flavor as possible. They are then double filtered and aged in clay pots. This gives them superior taste.
Grandeur View Bitters are produced in the Salt Lake Commissary (ghost kitchen) in Salt Lake City and are managed and distributed from Millcreek (Salt Lake County), Utah.
We do not have a storefront. We available locally at:

The Owner: Dr. Anne Arendt-Bunds (she/her). For years I had been crafting drink and food flavorings, from roasting coffee to making tonics, for my own enjoyment when not teaching as a professor in Technology Management for Utah Valley University. When my academic department started to transition from teaching primarily technology related topics to undergraduate students to instead management related topics to masters-level technology and engineering students, it seemed both logical and desirable to gain personal experience with a business of my own so I could be the best teacher possible on topics I had direct experience with. I chose bitters because they have very little risk of food borne illness, have an incredible shelf life, and are simply delicious in either alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.
